CityVille: Super Cargo Sheds boost your Goods storage four times

Is your CityVille town filled with Red Barns, Cargo Sheds and Silos, or are you simply running out of room to place buildings? Would you like to store more Goods in less space? If you answered yes to either question (who wouldn’t want to store Goods in less space?), you’ll be both pleased and saddened by my news: a new Super Cargo Shed has been released in the game, allowing you to store a whopping 4,000 Goods in a single building.
But wait – how can that be bad? Simple – a single Super Cargo Shed costs 50 City Cash to build in your town. If that price is worth it to you, you’ll be able to tear down some other buildings that provide the same amount of Goods storage, or can simply add this to your existing setup for a major boost.
Coincidentally, the Super Grain Elevator, which launched at the end of last month, has been removed from the game to make way for this one. As we know this Super Cargo Shed is also a “limited time” item, with no specific expiration date, we can put two and two together to assume that this one will only be around for a month as well. What sort of item can take its place? We’re not sure just yet, but we’ll make sure to let you know if and when something more fantastic comes along.

Although these items look cute, they do lack a bit of originality for those who play FarmVille. If the island getaway is your bag baby you are so set. The cost of these items at this exact point in time are not known, but he-who-knows-all-CV will return soon after the sun arises the horizon. We must appease the Unreleased Items God in all his glory and “like” upon all posts of knowledge of that which will soon come to our beloved cities. (read on for your sneaky peeky)

Q: What happened to our old bandits?
A: They’ve all been shipped off to prison!
Q: What about the old rewards? I didn’t get to finish catching the old bandits!
A: Old rewards have been moved to the market. You will now find them for purchase in the build menu.
Once you have reached Level 10 you can take full advantage of this fun new feature.
To get started, you need a police station.
If you already have one you don’t need to build another; just click on it to upgrade to Level 2.
Once you have completed upgrading your Police Station you will notice new special types of citizens patrolling your streets: Police Officers.
You will get two(2) of these once you finish your first upgrade, and one(1) additional officer with each addition upgrade thereafter. If you hover your mouse over an officer you will recognize one of you neighbors! Your neighbors will be selected at random as your police officers, if you have less neighbors than the total number of officers for your Station level Sam will fill-in the empty spots.
If you click on your Police Station you will notice a menu come up.
*Note: You have to have an active officer in order to catch a bandit. Bandits do not actually steal from your businesses, your earnings remain the same.
You can can see the list of all the reward different types of bandits will get you under the “Bandits” tab in the Police Station menu.
You can also upgrade your Police station from the third tab in the same menu.
In order to upgrade it you will have to catch the specified number of bandits or use City Cash; and starting from Level 2 your officers will pick up bandits in police cars!

We all know that no growing city can do with just one mall. (Seriously, how many malls do you have in your hometown? And those strip malls count, too.) So, of course, Zynga has released a second Mall for CityVille players to enjoy.
However, the feature appears to be slowly rolling out to players, as many on the forums have received a promotional notification without the update actually appearing … though it clearly reads, “Build a second Mall in your City today!”
However, we doubt this will add any sort of new functionality to the game. While it will likely play just like the existing Mall in the game, it sure helps to have room for more businesses to fit in the Mall–things were getting cramped in there. We’ll have more details as soon as this feature goes live. Until then, just cross your fingers that at least a texture redesign is in the works.
