Guide to Emergency Clinic Renovation

Hello Citizens!

Frank the Architect will help you upgrade your Emergency Clinic with a fresh new look! An upgraded Emergency Clinic will increase your population cap, provide better energy, and give you a chance to get Ribbons when collecting.

Before you get started, Here's a quick summary of this feature!

Benefits of Upgrading your Emergency Clinic

• Increased population cap.
• More energy when collecting.
• Chance to get Ribbons from upgraded Emergency Clinics
• Cool new look!

Q: Can I still have more than one Emergency Clinic?
A: Yes.

Q: Do I have to upgrade each one separately?
A: Yes.

Q: If I delete an Emergency Clinic, do I have to start the upgrade process again?
A: Yes.





Upgrading to Level 2

You will have the option to upgrade your Emergency Clinic when your city reaches 750 population or above. You will see the familiar upgrade arrow above your Clinic:



Click the building to bring up the upgrade window. Upgrading to Level 2 requires you to add new crew members, for a total of 12. Once you have upgraded your Emergency Clinic, you will see the design upgrade as well!



Result: At Level 2, your Emergency Clinic supports 300 population, gives you a chance to get more energy, as well as a chance to receive Ribbons when collecting.



Upgrading to Level 3

Level 3 Upgrade Requirements:

• Have a Level 2 Emergency Clinic.
• Reach 2,300 or more population.

After you have met the upgrade requirements, click your Emergency Clinic to bring up the upgrade window. Upgrading to Level 3 requires you to add 3 additional crew members, for a total of 15.



Result: At Level 3, your Emergency Clinic supports 550 population, you have an increased chance to receive more Ribbons and more energy when collecting.

Kung Fu Panda 2 belly flops into CityVille with in-game promotion

Jack Black–er–Po, the Kung Fu Panda, has drop-kicked his way into CityVille to promote his next big flick, aptly-named Kung Fu Panda 2. Players who log into the game will be greeted by CityVille Sam, who couldn’t be more excited for Po’s big arrival. (She’s a video game character, would you expect any less?) The promotion ushers in a new Goal that you will have to complete by May 31 to trade in a Kung Fu Panda Collection and receive the coveted Po Statue.

After being greeted by and accepting the Kung Fu Panda Goal, you will have to place the drive-in theater building. Then, whack the structure three times and supply it with 60 Goods to get things started. Next, you’ll just have to Collect from the quasi-business (and resupply it) enough times to complete the Kung Fu Panda Collection:

Crane, Mantis, Monkey, Tiger, Viper

Once you find all five items, which just happen to be characters from the upcoming movie (very clever, Zynga), you will receive the Po Statue to place in your city. Of course, this is all with the hope that you’ll check out the Dreamworks film come May 26. So, has your interest in all things wushu been piqued?

CityVille Food Festival Goal Series Guide

Zynga is not only delivering Kung Fu Panda 2-related content in CityVille, they have also launched a new 5 goal series, the International Food Festival that’s been introduced by Farmer Rita. As always, we are the first to have the details about this new mission series in CityVille, so read on to find our everything about it!

CityVille Food Festival Mission:
- Harvest 25 Strawberries
- Harvest 30 Corn
- Gather 3 Eggplant Collection items
Reward: Fruit Stand
Cityville Festival Recipes Mission:
- Collect 5 times from any Bakery in your city
- Collect 3 times from any French Restaurant in your city
- Ask friends for 8 Skewers
Reward: 4 energy

CityVille Food For Thought Mission:
- Visit 8 Friends
- Collect from any 4 neighbor’s Modern Chateaus
- Collect from any French Restaurant 3 times

Cityville Bridge Almost Here !!

CityVille players have been reporting seeing Edgar swinging from a helicopter with binoculars looking out to the beach area. This has gotten many players hoping that it is a hint about the long-awaited bridge.

Here’s what I do know:
1) the game calls it “bridgeTeaser”
2) The teaser is set to expire on June 19, 2011

Bakery Upgrades

Business Upgrades have arrived in CityVille! You can now upgrade your Bakery.

Now your businesses can be upgraded, just by supplying them! With each upgrade your business can accept more goods, and its payout will improve as well!

Q: If I upgrade one bakery and then buy another, do I have to upgrade that one.
A: Yes, each business must be upgraded individually.

Q: How many levels can my business be upgraded?
A: You can upgrade a business to level 3.

Q: Can neighbor franchises in my city be upgraded?
A: No, only your own businesses can be upgraded.

How It Works
In the Build menu you can see if a business is upgradeable.You will also see a star above your current business supply and collect icons, which also means that your business can be upgraded.

 

Once you have the business built, you can hover over it to see your current Upgrade Progress.

There are a few different ways to upgrade:

• Supplying: Every time you supply your business it gains +1 to upgrade progress.
• Crew: Each crew member that you add gives your business +10 (+20 at level 2) to upgrade progress.
• City Cash: For 2 City Cash you can add +1 to upgrade progress.
• Tour Buses: For each tour bus you send to an upgradeable business it gains +1 upgrade progress.

Whichever method you choose, you will see your progress in the mastery window as well as when you hover your cursor over a business.

Once your business is ready to upgrade, you’ll see a hammer icon over your building. Let’s do it!

Now that your business has been upgraded to Level 2, the building and number of stars will update to reflect your business level.

Level 3
Repeat the process and get to Level 3 to get the full benefit of Business Mastery. Remember that a level 3 business can hold more goods and will give you a better payout ratio!
