For over a month now, thousands of players have not been able to access their cities. As soon as their city loads they get this error, “(2)(net status failure)”, when their neighbor bar tries to load.
I had this error myself and had CityVille support delete all of my neighbors. As soon as my neighbors were deleted I was able to access my city.
I know this may seem like a pain but it is the only way I know that has successfully worked. Please contact support and ask them to try this. When a support rep *finally* gets back to you they may give you numerous idiotic reasons why this is a bad idea but insist that they try it.
Hopefully this will work for many of you as I know this is extremely frustrating.
